A jeweler's measure of ring size refers to the inside circumference of a ring. Size is the only option you are required to select when ordering one of our rings. Other titanium wood ring options (width, profile, finish, engraving) have a default value selected, which you may change to suit you best.
Ring width is the measurement of the outside (face) of a ring, rim-to-rim, in millimeters. For most designs, you'll notice that ring width also determines the width of the inlay used. When shopping for a titanium ring, look in the description text below its photo to see what width the ring is pictured as. If a width isn't designated for the ring picture, call our artist's studio at 808-327-4647. We will tell you the width shown on that ring's page and may even be able to email you more photos currently not shown online.
Ring profile refers to the top and outside of a titanium ring, where the wood or inlay is. A flat profile titanium ring has straighter, tapering edges. A round profile is more beveled, with slightly thicker walls. Note that our rings are all made comfort fit by hand, without sharp edges. As you'll notice in the example below, the flat profile also has less titanium showing on the face of the ring next to the inlay, while the round profile has more titanium showing coming around to the face of the ring. Most men prefer a flat profile.
Polished rings have a mirror-like finish. A brushed finish is duller. We recommend you order your ring polished because in time it will look brushed. The brushed finish is suggested when ordering a ring with a gold inlay — gold will stand out more in brushed titanium.
Inside engraving is complimentary (free!) with your titanium wood ring order. We can engrave up to 40 simple characters and hearts (add a note to your cart for a heart engraving). You can also place your order, then call our artist's studio at 808-327-4647 with your engraving.
